Chapter One
Gracious Goodness
Truth lives so beautifully, all around. As you know, nature nicely thrives. Nature is full of infinite wonders and beauty, and full of lovely truths for us. Our thriving-goodness is such a beauteous wonder.
When I see nature – like trees, sky, solar light, people – I sense the lovely wonders of our invisible worlds, here, near and above, and I meditate, “Precious dearies, divine loving light to Thee.” We too thrive in nature’s superb goodness don't we.
I saw a symbol of nature’s lovely living goodness in my first grandson, when he was brought to my house at age three weeks. Little Timothy was in his padded basket, looking at me. I, looking at him, said, “Beautiful dearie, I know where you came from. It’s so wonderfully, beautifully magnificent there.” Timothy heard, understood, and very widely smiled. Heaven above’s realm of greatness is so superbly infinite.
At about the year 1890 a young man came from Bulgaria to New York, going to a year of medical school and then to seminary. Returning to Europe he started up a church. His teaching was so advanced that the church’s administration sent him out of Bulgaria’s capital, Sophia. Years later he returned, again opened his Sophia church, and taught with great gracious goodness for decades, obtaining 40,000 people in the church. In addition, pastor Deunov brought his people into Bulgaria’s Rila mountains to do prayer circle dancing. A circle dance has people saying meditative words, with their movement and music. Paneurythmy does wonderous, gracious good, as you see.
